This 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2670 square foot single-story, single-family home with pool, study/office, and 2 car garage was built in 2006. The house has had only one owner who currently occupies the house. The owner assisted in the design process and made 80 changes to the builder's plans making this a truly custom home. The outside of the house and the pool deck were painted in November, 2021.
There is porcelain tile throughout the living areas, kitchen and all three bathrooms, and carpet in the bedrooms. There is a smaller version of this porcelain tile in all three showers. There are tray ceilings in the living and formal dining rooms and in the owner's suite. There are bullnose corners throughout all of the main living areas. Arches were added to improve the aesthetics and flow throughout the house. All ceiling fans were specially chosen for the rooms in which they were placed and most have dimmers. All lights in the kitchen, living room, and owner's suite are on dimmers to provide a soft, dim, relaxing light at night. The light fixtures in the foyer, kitchen dining area, and the area over the sink are Murano glass from Italy. Except for the windows in the owner's suite bedroom, all windows and doors have custom shutters.
The kitchen is a chef's kitchen with a Thermador Professional gas stove and outside-vented range hood, Thermador side by side integrated refrigerator, Thermador dishwasher, and Kitchen Aid trash compactor. All appliances are stainless steel. The sink is oversized, stainless steel, undermounted, with matching stainless steel sink protector. Countertops in the kitchen are black, tan, and brown granite and coordinate with the 48" cabinets. The backsplash, under the cabinets, and behind the stove are stone. The kitchen has under- and over cabinet lighting, on dimmers. There is a large walk-in pantry. There is a dining nook by the kitchen and a granite bar as well. The same cabinets and granite countertops are also in the Butler's pantry which currently serves as storage for special dishes, glassware, and serving dishes.
The laundry room has a utility sink and Whirlpool Duet gas washer and dryer which will remain with the house.
There is a small closet in the hallway off the kitchen and two larger ones on either side of the hallway that lead to two of the bedrooms. These two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower and single sink. One bedroom has a walk-in closet, the other has a long, narrow closet. The fourth bedroom was once used as a gym and has a fully mirrored wall and windows looking out onto the back and side yards. There is a linen closet outside that room which is next to the third, cabana bathroom, with porcelain tile and custom lighting there as well.
The study/office has French doors and has room for two desks.
The owner's suite has custom Roman blackout shades which open onto the pool deck, back and side yards. There are two walk-in closets. The master bathroom has a garden tub. The same smaller porcelain tile is on the front of the tub.
The living room has two sets of French doors which lead to the pool deck and pool. The pool, just over six feet deep in the deep end, has black marcite and gray tile. There is a sitting area in the pool, above the main pool, that has a fountain and waterfall which provide a very relaxing sound which can be heard in the house when the French doors are open. All of the screens, screws, and door hardware of the pool enclosure were replaced in November 2021. There is a new ceiling fan with light above the sitting area of the pool deck. Shade over the pool deck area closest to the house can be had in a matter of moments when the tan canvas rollout sun shade is deployed. Having the shade deployed, turning on the ceiling fans on the pool deck and in the living room, and having the French doors open makes the pool deck a very pleasant extension of the living room. There is a capped gas line near the pool pump for a pool heater if one wishes to install one. The pool has always been maintained by a pool service and is in pristine condition.
